You can update foreclosure petitions that have not been committed.
To update a foreclosure petition
Access the Foreclosure Petition Website:
Go to the Division’s website (www.mass.gov/dob).
Under New Online Foreclosure Database in the center column, select Click here for additional information regarding the filing process.
Select Click here to access the Foreclosure Petition Website. The Foreclosure Petition Website home page displays.
Log in by entering your user name and password.
Search for the petition you want to update.
Click View for the petition you want to update. The Borrower Information tab for the selected petition displays.
Click Update Petition.
Make any needed changes and click Next.
Make any needed changes to the Filing Entity tab and click Next.
Make any needed changes to the Previous Loan Assignees tab and click Next.
Make any needed changes to the 90 Day Right to Cure tab and click Done to save any changes. You can next choose to commit the petition or go back and make more changes.
Note: A red asterisk (*) next to a field means information must be entered.
