Maintaining Account Information

After registering, you can edit some of your account information.

To update your account information

  1. Access the Foreclosure Petition Website:

  1. Go to the Division’s website (www.mass.gov/dob).

  2. Under New Online Foreclosure Database in the center column, select Click here for additional information regarding the filing process.

  3. Select Click here to access the Foreclosure Petition Website. The Foreclosure Petition Website home page displays.

  1. Log in by entering your user name and password.

  2. Click Maintain Account Information located in the blue bar at the top of the page.

  3. Make any needed changes to the following fields:

  4. MERS Org ID – You can enter your MERS ID when you register and the first time you access this Maintain Account Information page. After the first time, you will NOT be able to edit this field.

  5. Federal Tax ID Number – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  6. Lender Type – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  7. Lender Name – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  8. Lender Address Line 1 – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  9. Lender Address Line 2 – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  10. Lender City – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  11. Lender State – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  12. Lender Zip Code – (Read only – This field cannot be updated.)

  13. Contact First Name *

  14. Contact Last Name *

  15. Contact MI

  16. Contact Email *

  17. Contact Telephone *

  1. Click Update (or click Cancel to ignore any changes made).

Note: A red asterisk (*) next to a field means information must be entered.
